Iyanya Mbuk, winner of the first season of the talent hunt singing competition, Project Fame (West Africa), is said to be rounding up work on his soon to be released debut album. In the meantime, a video for his hot single ‘Love Truly’ has been released and is gaining serious airplay all around the nation.
‘Love Truly’, the song that captured many Nigerian hearts and eventually left him as the last man standing in the Project Fame Academy, was produced by the prolific ‘TY Mix’ and the video was directed by fast rising director, ‘A-wizzle’ of M-squad Production.
In our honest opinion (and it’s not a cliché), the video was just okay and there isn’t much to say about it, asides that it seemed to have been rushed so as to give the second season of the competition some credibility (maybe there’s much to say).
The song would have easily gotten a 7 from us but the video sucked up a few points.
So Iyanya, we give you a 5.
